Telangana Govt assures continued support for citizens returning from conflict zones

New Delhi/Hyderabad, Jun 23 (UNI) The Government of Telangana is trying its best to extend support to citizens returning from conflict-hit Middle Eastern regions.
Following the Chief Minister’s directives, Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi facilitated the safe transit of six students- four from Iran and two from Israel- who arrived at midnight. All students had pre-booked flights to Hyderabad and were provided necessary assistance, including accommodation and travel coordination, before their departure at 0530 hours on Monday.
Officials have confirmed that seven more citizens who crossed over from Israel to Amman, Jordan, are expected to arrive in New Delhi tonight. Preparations are underway at the airport and Telangana Bhavan to receive and support them.

KCHR releases 6 research books at Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Festival

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 13 (UNI) Six scholarly books published by the Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) were released as part of the Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Festival (KLAIBF) 2026 at the Legislative Assembly Complex.
The book “Institutions, Individuals, and Practices: Anthropological Essays," a collection of selected essays by eminent anthropologist Dr. A. Ayyappan, edited by Prasanth Madhav and Rafi Neelamkavil, was received by the Vice-Chairperson of the Kerala State Higher Education Council, Prof. Rajan Gurukkal.
