Telangana govt committed to public welfare: Excise minister

Hyderabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Telangana Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today said the state government is committed to addressing public grievances, including demands for Indiramma houses, new ration cards and Dharani-related issues.
Speaking to the media after attending a face-to-face programme at Gandhi Bhavan, the Minister said that Indiramma houses would be sanctioned in phases to eligible beneficiaries.
He also assured that issues related to ration cards, Dharani and passbooks would be resolved at the earliest.

Andhra Pradesh government targets Rs 1 27 Lakh Cr revenue

Vijayawada, May 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday directed all departments to intensify efforts to increase the state’s own revenues while aggressively pursuing pending central funds.
Reviewing the performance of key revenue earning departments at the Secretariat in Amaravati, the Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh must convert growing investments into higher tax revenues and sustainable economic growth.
