Telangana govt ramps up anti-drug drive; Minister Adluri Laxman urges youth to stay focused on future

Hyderabad, Nov 18 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Disabled, Elderly, and Transgender Empowerment, Adluri Laxman Kumar, said the Telangana government is taking firm measures to build a drug-free state, stressing that youth must stay away from addictive habits and focus on meaningful goals.
He was speaking at the fifth anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, held at Gandhi Medical College’s Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on Tuesday.
The Minister said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s government has launched a statewide awareness campaign with the message “Stay away from drugs, stay closer to life’s goals,” aiming to reach every student and young person.
