Hyderabad, Apr 21 (UNI) In a proud moment for the state, Telangana inaugurated its dedicated pavilion at the prestigious Osaka Expo in Japan, marking a significant milestone in international representation.
Led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the "Telangana Rising" delegation arrived in Osaka from Kitakyushu and made a vibrant entry into the India Pavilion on Monday morning.
The Telangana Zone, a specially curated space within the India Pavilion, was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alongside IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.
Held once every five years, the Osaka Expo is a globally recognised event. Telangana has earned the distinction of being the first Indian state to participate in this prestigious global forum.
The pavilion is a celebration of Telangana’s rich cultural heritage, rapidly developing industrial landscape, and thriving tourism sector. Exhibitions within the pavilion highlight the state’s technological innovations, traditional arts, and diverse tourist attractions, offering visitors a holistic glimpse into the heart of South India.
Through its presence at the Expo, Telangana aims to foster international cultural cooperation and attract global investments, reaffirming its position as a rising economic and cultural hub on the world stage, an official statement said.
