Telangana to delegate powers to Sarpanches for streetlight maintenance and installation

Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today structured the officials to delegate powers to the Sarpanches for the maintenance and installation of streetlights in all Gram Panchayats in the state.
The CM ordered the Panchayt Raj officials to conduct a survey of the available LED lights, requirement of the lights and status of the supervision of the streetlights following the reports of the neglect of switching off the lights in the daytime in many villages.
At a high level review of the maintenance of the streetlights with Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments here, the CM said that LED dashboards should be installed in villages under the supervision of the MPDO at mandal level.

UoH launches two online certificate courses, expands digital learning initiatives

Hyderabad, July 15 (UNI) The Centre for Digital Learning, Training & Resources (CDLTR) at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) on Wednesday launched two online certificate courses—"Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational Tools" and "Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance."
The courses were formally launched by Vice-Chancellor Prof J Anuradha, who also inaugurated an additional video recording studio at the CDLTR to strengthen the university's digital education infrastructure.

KIMS Kondapur successfully removes rare cancer tumour after eight-year medical ordeal
