Damascus, Nov 30 (UNI) Terrorist groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, a terrorist organization banned in Russia) were allegedly able to establish control over more than 40% of the western districts of Syria's second-largest city, Aleppo, early on Saturday, Al Mayadeen broadcaster reported, citing its own correspondent.
The day before, Al Watan newspaper published a video on Telegram with a Syrian soldier who stated that the Syrian army continues to maintain a presence in the western districts of Aleppo and that individual groups of terrorists have penetrated into a number of districts.
Earlier, social media reported the retreat of the Syrian army from a number of districts of Aleppo and the entry of terrorists into the city.
