THRC seeks report from Tripura DGP against SP rank officer for his sexual misconduct

Agartala, May 20 (UNI) The Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) has directed the State’s Director General of Police to submit a comprehensive report regarding allegations of sexual offence against a senior police officer holding the rank of Superintendent of Police.
This directive is in response to media reports alleging that a 2010-batch Tripura Police Service (TPS) officer, currently serving as SP, was accused of attempting to engage in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a fellow woman police officer.
