Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds likely in Telangana over next five days: Met

Hyderabad, Oct 15 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana over the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In its daily weather report, the Met Centre said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at isolated places across the state during the next seven days.
It noted that the Southwest monsoon remained weak over Telangana, with rain occurring at one or two places in the state during the past 24 hours, the report added.
