Tirumala; TTD Chairman releases book 'Sri Vari Divya Prasadamulu'

Tirumala, Dec 14 (UNI) TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, released a book on Sri Vari Divya Prasadamulu penned by former Chief Priest of the Tirumala temple, Ramana Dikshitulu, here on Sunday.
The author informed the Chairman that the book provides comprehensive details about the various Annaprasadams offered to the deity as part of the Vaikhanasa Agama-prescribed rituals and kainkaryams performed in the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple.

Counterfeit currency racket busted in Dakshina Kannada, 7 held

Mangaluru, July 16 (UNI) A counterfeit currency printing and circulation racket has been busted in Uppinangady in Dakshina Kannada district, with police arresting seven persons and seizing fake Rs 500 notes, printing equipment and materials allegedly used to manufacture counterfeit currency.
