Tirumala: TTD serves Up to 3 Lakh Devotees Daily Under Annaprasadam Scheme; Trust Deposits Reach Rs 2,500 Cr

Tirumala, June 10 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) continues to operate one of the world's largest free meal programmes, serving nutritious food to lakhs of devotees every day under its Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust.
Sustained entirely through donations from devotees, the Trust currently holds fixed deposits of around Rs 2,500 crore.
Income generated from these deposits enables TTD to provide free meals, breakfast and beverages to pilgrims visiting Tirumala throughout the year.
