TJS George’s funeral to be held with state honours

Bengaluru, Oct 4 (UNI) The Karnataka government today announced that the funeral of veteran journalist, author, and Padma Bhushan awardee TJS George will be conducted with full state honours.
George passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Bengaluru at the age of 97.
A government circular stated, “TJS George, senior journalist and Padma Bhushan awardee, passed away on October 3. The government expresses its deep condolences and has ordered that his final rites be conducted with full state honours.”

Kadapa, July 15 (UNI) The foundation stone for the second manufacturing unit of Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), one of India's leading cement manufacturing companies, was laid in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

PM Modi to inaugurate redeveloped Hi-Tech City Railway Station on July 17
