TN govt to implement all-encompassing 5 yr ‘Vetri Thamizhagam – Vision Document’ based on ten pillars

Chennai, June 18 (UNI) The Government will implement an all-encompassing ‘Vetri Thamizhagam – Vision Document’ based on ten pillars to further promote the development of Tamil Nadu and to improve the livelihood of people, over the next five years, Governor
R V Arlekar announced in the State Assembly on Thursday.
Delivering his maiden customary address to the House on the first day of the first session of the new TVK government headed by Chief Minister Vijay, the Governor said this developmental path comprises of ten pillars; namely Tamil identity and pride, dignified living and social security, welfare of women, welfare of youth, welfare of farmers, agricultural labourers and fishermen, world class education, a prosperous Tamil Nadu, excellent healthcare and environment, world class infrastructure and a people’s welfare Government and a good and transparent administration.

Telangana CEO directs officials to expedite electoral roll revision

Sudharsan Reddy on Tuesday directed district election officials to expedite the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls and ensure that over 90 per cent of the enumeration process is completed by the end of this week.
