Tom Holland showcases revamped Spider-Man suit

London, Aug 3 (UNI) Production on "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is officially underway and a video revealing the first look at Tom Holland's striking new Spidey suit has been unleashed on the official Instagram account.
Sony Pictures kicked off Saturday by dropping a video of Tom Holland warming up in costume before stepping toward the came in his redesigned Spider-Man suit and asking, “We ready?” A teaser of the costume was posted on Friday.
The sleek redesign features a larger spider emblem emblazoned across his chest, recalling stylistic elements of Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's iconic suits, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Filming has now begun in England on the actor's fourth solo outing, which picks up after the events of "No Way Home", where Doctor Strange's spell erased Peter Parker from everyone's memory, leaving even MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) unaware of his true identity.
Returning for the epic upcoming entry is Jon Bernthal, who will be reprising his role as the vigilante known as the Punisher.
It also marks the first time Bernthal’s iteration of the character will appear on the big screen. On Friday, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Mark Ruffalo is returning as the Hulk. Michael Mando is also returning to reprise the role of the Scorpion, who first appeared in 2017’s "Homecoming".
Directing the film is Destin Daniel Cretton, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers (No Way Home) writing the script.
