Top NDA leaders attend Tej Pratap's Chura Dahi feast

Patna, Jan 14(UNI) Top NDA leaders attended chura dahi feast hosted by Tej Pratap Yadav on Wednesday on the occasion of Makar Sankranti which further fuelled speculations over his next political move in days ahead.
Chura dahi (flattened rice-curd) feast hosted by Tej Pratap Yadav, was attended by top NDA leaders Including Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Rural Works Minister Ashok Kumar Chaudhary among others. Bihar Governor Aarif Mohammad Khan also attended the feast.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who had expelled his son Tej Pratap from his party and declared that no family member would have any relation with him, also surprised political pundits by attending the event. His participation gave mixed political message to both his younger son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and also NDA that he had not totally disowned him, as declared earlier. It was also an indication for NDA leaders that Tej Pratap was still closely attached with family.

Meghalaya coal mine blast: ‘Dead’ man turns out to be alive

Shillong, Feb 13 (UNI) In an apparent case of medical mis-judgement related to the dynamite blast at the Myngsnat-Thangsko coal mine in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills, an injured man who was declared dead was later found to be alive to the respite of his family.
Family members of the 44-year-old Shyambabu Singha had performed his last rites, believing he had succumbed to his injuries in the February 5 dynamite explosion.
