Torrent Pharma Q3 net up 14 pc to Rs 503 crore

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Torrent Group flagship company Torrent Pharma on Friday reported 14 percent jump in net profit year-on-year to Rs 503 crore during the third quarter (October-December) of current financial year 2024-25, versus Rs 443 crore in the same quarter of previous financial year.
Revenues from operations grew 3 percent y-o-y to Rs 2,809 crore during the reporting quarter as against Rs 2,732 crore in the same quarter of last fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges.
Torrent has been operating in India, Brazil, Germany and the USA.
India revenues stood at Rs 1,581 crores were up by 12% led by outperformance in focus therapies. While the Brazil revenues were at Rs 291 crores, were down by 7%, impacted by steep BRL depreciation.
According to the company, revenues from the US dip 1 percent to Rs 271 crores, and the Germany revenues at Rs 282 crores, up by 4%.
