New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Private integrate power utility major Torrent Power on Friday said it has emerged as the successful bidder for setting up Grid-connected renewable power projects for supply of 100 MW round-the-clock power.
Torrent Power Limited is Rs 25,694 crore integrated power utility of the Rs 37,600 crore Torrent Group and is one of the largest companies in the country’s power sector with presence across the entire power value chain – generation, transmission and distribution.
“Torrent Power Limited has emerged as the successful bidder and has received Letter of Award from Railway Energy Management Company Limited (REMCL) on 29th February 2024 for setting up of grid-connected renewable power projects, with or without storage, for supply of 100 MW Round-The-Clock power,” the company said in a release.
