Toyota Kirloskar Motor announces price cut from Sept 22 onwards

Chennai, Sep 6 (UNI) Indo-Japanese car joint venture Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Ltd today said it will fully pass on the benefits of recent reduction in Goods and Service Tax (GST) to its customers.
The company said the revised prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025 onwards.
Making this announcement, Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement said: “We sincerely thank the Government of India, for this historic reform. It has not only enhanced affordability for customers but also strengthened overall confidence in the auto sector. Ahead of the festive season we expect this step will provide strong momentum and further accelerate demand.”
As a transparent and customer-centric company, we are pleased to pass on these benefits to our customers, he added.
The potential price reduction ranges between Rs.48,700 and Rs.3,49,000 depending on the model.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor is a 89:11 joint venture between Japan’s Toyota Motor Corporation and India’s Kirloskar Systems Ltd.

Bank loan recovery improves in UP

Lucknow, Jul 12(UNI) Bank loan recovery has improved significantly over the past year in Uttar Pradesh, reports here said.
According to a joint report submitted by banks to the government recently, pending recovery certificates (RCs) have decreased from 23.23 lakh to 9.32 lakh, a reduction of 13.91 lakh. The pending amount associated with these certificates has also decreased from Rs 36,994 crore to Rs 17,856 crore.

Over 17 million taxpayers file Income Tax Returns so far: I-T Department
