Trump aides echo mediator's assessments on difficulty of locating dead Israeli hostage bodies in Gaza rubble

Washington, Oct 16 (UNI) Amidst Hamas' claims of delivering all the dead hostages it could, and Israel threatening military action against it for not honouring its side of the ceasefire deal, mediators have warned that it could take the terror group – even with all its resources - weeks to locate all the bodies, owing to the immense mounds of debris surrounding the entire Gaza Strip.
The assessment was echoed by a pair of senior US President aides during Trump's press briefing on Wednesday, arguing that for all its intents and purposes, Hamas has honoured its end of the US-brokered Oct 9 ceasefire deal.
"We've heard a lot of people saying, 'Hamas violated the deal, because not all the bodies have been returned.' The understanding we had with them was we get all the live hostages out, which they did honour that," said one of the advisors, remaining anonymous.
