Trump has not abandoned spirit of Anchorage summit, says former US National Intelligence official

Washington, Oct 6 (UNI) US President Donald Trump has not abandoned the spirit of the Aug 15, Anchorage summit where he met his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin, amid Washington's continued delivery of weapon systems to Ukraine, said former National Intelligence Council official Graham Fuller.
The Anchorage summit – though failing in its ability to reach an agreement on reaching a settlement – was marked success nonetheless, reopening communications between Moscow and Washington after years of deadlock, and significantly improving bilateral relations.
Speaking to TASS, Fuller remarked that sending weapons to Kyiv is not a betrayal or rejection of that spirit.
