TT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships: Thrilling finishes mark Under-11 Round of 32

Ranchi, Dec 7 (UNI) The Under-11 Boys’and Girls’ Round of 32 produced an enthralling day of table tennis action in the fifth UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, filled with nail-biting finishes and commanding displays as the field narrowed ahead of tonight’s pre-quarter final clashes.
In the Under-11 Boys’ division, West Bengal players continued their dominance with several standout performances. Rajdeep Biswas led the charge with a commanding 11-1, 11-6, 11-7 win over Kavish Saran (TTFI-1), while Hridan Biswas and Arjun Sen also recorded straight-game victories, showcasing West Bengal’s strong developmental depth.
One of the day’s most gripping contests came from Ayushman Ghosh of West Bengal, who survived a tense five-game battle against compatriot Srijit Saha, edging through 12-10, 11-9, 8-11, 6-11, 12-10. His resilience and clutch play under pressure earned loud applause from the crowd. Similarly, Avyaan Walia fought back from the brink, overcoming Shrihan Chowdhury of Bengal 12-14, 12-10, 5-11, 15-13, 11-7 in one of the tournament’s most intense encounters so far.

China finishes runner-up in AFC U23 Asian Cup
