Turmeric board will bring new hope among turmeric farmers: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad, Jan 14 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday stated that the establishment of the Turmeric Board in Nizamabad would bring new hope to the lives of farmers cultivating turmeric.
Participating virtually in the inauguration of the Nizamabad Turmeric Board, Sanjay mentioned that staying true to its promise, the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi established the Turmeric Board.
He also acknowledged that Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind had promised to establish the Board if elected and worked hard to fulfill this promise.

Kerala MACT orders Rs 1 15 cr compensation for child in 21-month coma

Kozhikode, Nov 18 (UNI) The Vadakara Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (MACT) today directed an insurance company to pay Rs 1.15 crore to the parents of a girl Drishna (10), who has been in a coma for the past 21 months and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kottayam, following a road accident at Kainatti near Chorode on the NH in Vadakara on February 17, 2024.
