Twelve richest people own more wealth than bottom half of humanity: Bernard Sanders

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) United States Senator from Vermont, Bernard Sanders, said that the 12 richest people own more wealth than the bottom half of humanity.
Sanders wrote on X, "Massive wealth inequality is a global crisis."
He said that the world's 3,000 billionaires got USD 2.5 trillion richer last year and now hold USD 18.3 trillion.
"The twelve richest people own more wealth than the bottom half of humanity."
"Our goal: create a global economy that works for ALL, not just for few," the social media post added.
Bernard Sanders is an American politician and activist serving as the senior United States senator from Vermont.
