Two died and nine injured on Samruddhi Expressway accident near Nashik

Nashik, Dec 15 (UNI) In a tragic road accident on Samruddhi Expressway on Sunday a brother and sister died and nine others including six children were critically injured. The accident is reported to have happened due to a tyre blast of the car they were travelling lost control and hit a unidentified heavy vehicle near Patole Shivar in Sinnar taluka of the district of Nashik.
According to police the deceased were identified as Nilesh Bukane (38), resident of Milindnagar, Kalyan, and his sister Vaishali Ghusle (35), resident of Chinchpada, Kalyan. Both were going to Fardapur in Sinnar taluka with their relatives for a wedding ceremony. 11 passengers had left from Kalyan in a Kia car.
As soon as the car's tyre burst in the Patole area, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a heavy vehicle moving ahead. The citizens of the area rushed to the highway and immediately informed the Samruddhi Highway Police QRV team and emergency services.
