Two members of one family killed as car falls off bridge

Gadchiroli, Jan 20 (UNI) A tragic road accident in Gadchiroli district claimed the lives of two members of the same family and left three others critically injured after a car plunged off a bridge into a river near Bori on Tuesday plunging the entire area into mourning.
The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when a car carrying relatives who were returning from the last rites of a family member lost control on the Dina river bridge near Bori and fell straight into the river below. All five occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the crash.
According to information available, Ravindra Tangadpalliwar had been brutally murdered a day earlier on the Alapalli–Sironcha National Highway, triggering shock and tension across the region. His funeral was held with relatives from Ashti and Bori attending the last rites.
