Two wanted accused in Ghaziabad kidnapping-murder case held after gunfight in South Delhi

New Delhi, June 12 (UNI) The Delhi Police's Crime Branch has arrested two alleged criminals carrying rewards of Rs ₹50,000 each and wanted by the Ghaziabad Police in connection with a kidnapping and murder case, following an exchange of gunfire in South Delhi during the intervening night of June 11 and 12.
Both accused sustained bullet injuries to their legs during the encounter and were shifted to hospital under police security.
Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) H.G.S. Dhaliwal said the operation reflected "meticulous planning, excellent coordination and exceptional professionalism, leaving virtually no opportunity for the suspects to evade the police net," adding that further investigation into the source of the weapons and the criminal network supporting the accused is underway.
