Riyadh, Feb 18 (UNI) U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks here on Tuesday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Held in the presence of Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the talks "were part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to promote global security and peace," the statement said.
Other U.S. officials in Riyadh include National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
