Uddhav-Raj meet family, not political, says Sanjay Raut

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut today clarified that the recent meeting between Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray was a family interaction and not a political one.
Raut said Uddhav Thackeray visited Raj Thackeray's residence at the invitation of Raj Thackeray's mother, who is also Uddhav's maternal aunt. No political discussions took place during the meeting, he added.
During the Ganesh festival, Uddhav Thackeray had visited Raj Thackeray's home, but was unable to converse properly due to the crowd. This follow-up visit was at the request of Raj Thackeray's mother, Raut explained.
