UP: Five injured in fire incident in Sitapur

Sitapur (UP), Apr 23 (UNI) Five persons sustained burn injuries after fire broke out due to leakage in a gas cylinder leak during an engagement ceremony in Khairabad area of Sitapur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that there was an engagement ceremony of Sohail in Kamal Sarai of Khairabad on Wednesday evening. "While food was being cooked the fire broke out due to leakage in the gas cylinder," they said.
Police sources said that five persons, including Ashima, Amina, Rukhsar, Sohail and her sister Sassan sustained serious injuries in the incident. "All the injured were given first aid at Khairabad hospital and sent to the district hospital for treatment. On receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade personnel immediately controlled the fire, which prevented other houses from catching fire," they said.
