UP: Girl strangled to death in hotel room in Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh (UP), Apr 26 (UNI) A 22-year-old girl was strangled to death under mysterious circumstances in a hotel room in Nagar Kotwali area of Pratapgarh district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Saturday.
Police sources said that Abhishek, a resident of Pahar Pur Gajehra of Delhu Pur police station area, came to City Prime hotel with a girl named Ritu Pal of Delhu Pur on Friday morning at around 10 am.
"Both of them were staying in a room in the hotel. Abhishek left the hotel in the afternoon. At around 10:30 pm on Friday night, on getting suspicious, the hotel staff started calling from inside to open the locked room," they said.
