UP: Lightning strike claims lives of couple, their son in Ghazipur

Ghazipur, Mar 20 (UNI) A couple and their minor son lost their lives in lightning strike in Dildarnagar area of Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Police sources here said that Ravi Shankar Kushwaha (32), a resident of Karma village under Dildarnagar police station, used to work in a private company in Delhi. "Ravi had come to the village for a wedding ceremony in a relative's house and to celebrate Holi," they said.
The sources said that on Wednesday, he went to his in-laws house in Sarhula village with his wife Saroj Kushwaha (30) and eight-month-old son Ankush on a motorcycle. "On Thursday morning, while the couple along with their son were returning home they were struck by lightning."
