UP Tourism organises food heritage walk to mark World Sustainable Gastronomy Day

Lucknow, June 18 (UNI) Bringing together food, culture and heritage, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) on Thursday organised a special Food Heritage Walk through the historic lanes of Lucknow’s Chowk area to mark World Sustainable Gastronomy Day.
Held under ‘Visit My State Uttar Pradesh’ campaign, the event offered participants an opportunity to experience the city’s renowned culinary traditions and cultural heritage.
The heritage walk attracted nearly 40 participants, including food enthusiasts, tourists, heritage lovers, and influencers who explored the vibrant food streets of Chowk and interacted with local establishments that have preserved Lucknow’s culinary traditions for generations. Participants were introduced to traditional Awadhi flavours, historic food landmarks and the stories that continue to shape the city's unique gastronomic identity.
