UPPCB honours winners of Green Commando campaign

Lucknow, June 12 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board has felicitated the winners of the Green Commando Campaign – an online initiative conducted from May 13 to May 31, 2026, to promote public participation in environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
Dr. R.P. Singh, Chairman, UPPCB, along with Board Members Shri Bhikhari Prajapati and Shri Rajendra Pal, on Thursday evening presented cash prizes, certificates and mementos to the winners.
In the Individual Category, Praveen Kumar was declared the winner and received a cash prize of Rs 10,000. Harkirat Singh and Aniket Gupta secured the first and second runner-up positions respectively and were awarded cash prizes of Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000.
