Urban Naxals must be held responsible for innocent deaths, says Minister

Karimnagar, Nov 19 (UNI) union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday launched a sharp attack “urban Naxals,” accusing them of provoking Dalit, tribal and Adivasi youth into joining Maoist groups while they themselves enjoy positions and privileges in government.
Speaking to the media during his visit to Huzurabad for a meeting of polling booth presidents and senior BJP leaders of the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, Bandi Sanjay said those who mislead innocent youth into extremism must also share responsibility for the deaths occurring in the forests.
He said many Maoists dying today are “innocent children misled by urban ideologues,” while those responsible for motivating them continue to hold nominated posts and commissions in the Congress government. “They talk about fighting anti-people policies, yet they cling to government positions. What ideology is this?” he asked.
