US government announces new limits on Mexican flights,

Washington/Mexico City, July 20 (UNI) The U.S. government announced new limits on Mexican flights yesterday, accusing Mexico of violating the bilateral air agreement on aviation access and fairness.

Mexico has not been in compliance with the 2015 U.S.-Mexico Air Transport Agreement since 2022 "when it abruptly rescinded slots and then forced U.S. all-cargo carriers to relocate operations," the U.S. Department of Transportation said in a statement.
