US President Donald Trump vows assailant of Indian-American national will be prosecuted to fullest extent

Washington, Sep 15 (UNI) After days of disquieting silence in the US over the gruesome beheading of an Indian national, US President Donald Trump has taken up the issue, and vowed that the assailant will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and charged with murder in the first degree.
On September 10, Chandra Nagamallaiah, a 50-year-old Indian national who worked as a motel manager in Dallas, Texas, was beheaded with a machete by a Cuban co-worker during an argument.
The crime happened in front of Nagamallaiah’s wife and 18-year-old son who pleaded with the 37-year-old Cuban to spare his life. However, the Cuban, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, after beheading Nagamalliah, kicked the severed head down the parking lot before tossing it in a dumpster.
