VHP to intensify movement to free temples from govt control

Prayagraj, Jan 24 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) National President Alok Kumar on Friday said that the time has come for the governments to return the Hindu temples to them and a movement which started in Vijayawada for this with 2.5 lakh people, will be intensified.
Addressing the journalists after the Virat Sant Sammelan organised by VHP, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj of Juna Akhara said, "In the Sant Sammelan, serious discussions were held on freeing the Hindu monasteries and temples from government control and the movement will be intensified for this."
He said that the saints were also very angry about the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan. "The Human Rights Commission remains silent on the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh," he said.
