Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy Kacheri’ sets Madurai abuzz with celebration

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) Thalapathy Vijay is back to delight his fans as the first single from his highly anticipated film Jana Nayagan, titled “Thalapathy Kacheri,” was unveiled.
KVN productions posted the track on X writing, “Kodiya parakka vittu virunthu vachu vibe agalam nanba.”
Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, the energetic track also features vocals by Vijay and Arivu. With its pulsating beats and fan-centric lyrics, the song celebrates Vijay’s enduring bond with his massive fanbase.
Soon after its release, streets in Madurai turned festive as fans of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief celebrated in grand style—dancing to the song, waving posters, and lighting up the streets with jubilation.
Choreographed by Sekhar, the music video pays tribute to Vijay’s iconic dance moves, featuring sequences inspired by his earlier blockbusters like Ghilli, Thuppakki, Mersal, and Master.
Adding to the excitement, a new poster for Jana Nayagan was revealed on Wednesday evening.
The poster features Vijay exuding confidence and charisma as he stands amid a sea of supporters, dressed in a simple blue shirt and sunglasses, with an intense gaze that hints at the film’s powerful theme.
Earlier in June, the makers celebrated Vijay’s birthday with the release of the film’s first teaser, “First Roar.” The 65-second teaser opened with Vijay’s voice declaring, “You guys will live in my heart,” before cutting to visuals of him in a police uniform walking through a battle-scarred landscape. The teaser’s mix of chaos and calm intensity hinted at a gripping action drama.
Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan is slated for release on January 9, 2026, where it will face a major box-office clash with Prabhas’s ‘The Raja Saab’.
