Visit to "Smriti Mandir" inspires patriotism, service to society: Eknath Shinde

Nagpur, Dec 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today said that a visit to Nagpur’s Smriti Mandir instills a deep sense of patriotism and encourages people to dedicate themselves to the service of society, especially as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marks its 100th year.
Shinde noted that Nagpur holds special significance as the birthplace of the RSS, which was established a century ago by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.
He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-standing association with the organisation, describing it as a source of inspiration.

Sena minister’s son surrenders after HC rap in Mahad poll violence case

Commissioner Amitesh Kumar Opens Empress Garden Flower Show

Pune, Jan 23 (UNI) As part of a major environmental initiative, 44 police stations in Pune will be developed as eco-friendly “Green Police Stations,” Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar announced on Friday.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Empress Garden Flower Show 2026, he said the police force will actively contribute to environmental conservation. “The Khaki force will now function as a green force,” he quipped.
