Volvo Car India announces “Double Festive Delight” with significant price reductions

Kolkata, Sep 9 (UNI) Volvo Car India today announced major price reductions, going up to
Rs 6.9 lakh on its ICE portfolio, effective from September, 22, 2025.

The move comes as a direct result of the recent GST rationalization by the GST Council, which
has been hailed as a landmark reform for the automotive industry.
In addition to the price reduction, Volvo Car India has also introduced festive offers on their cars, bringing extra joy and value to the customers, making it a “Double Festive Delight”.
The new tax structure, which has replaced the higher tax slabs with a simplified system, has allowed Volvo Cars to pass on the benefits directly to its customers. This reduction makes the entire ICE range of Volvo's luxurious and safe vehicles more accessible than ever, at very attractive price points for the customers.
While the prices for the Volvo BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) cars remain unchanged, they are included in the special festive offers.
Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director at Volvo Car India said, "As a responsible business and a Swedish luxury car maker, our aim is to make luxury mobility more accessible and provide our customers with the best offers."
"By offering this combination of GST benefits and special offers as part of the “Double Festive Delight”, we are also reinforcing our confidence in the growth of this niche segment in India. We
are poised for a strong and successful festive season, driven by this positive change and our robust product portfolio,” Malhotra added.
