Woman murdered over dowry demand in Bihar's Saran

Chhapra (Bihar), Mar 25 (UNI) A 25-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in Bihar's Saran district over dowry demands, police said here on Tuesday.
Anita Kumari (25), wife of Ajay Mahto, a resident of Motirajpur village, was murdered by her in-laws for not fulfilling their dowry demands, police sources said, When the information about this case came to the people of Karinga Musehri village of Mufassil police station area, they filed an application and informed the police station.
Sources said that on receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and broke the lock of the house and recovered the body.

Itanagar, Apr 29 (UNI) In a significant breakthrough under Operation Dawn 2.0, the Naharlagun Police of Arunachal Pradesh successfully apprehended a main drug supplier near Dikrong river bank, and recovered 20 vials of heroin from his possession
The drug supplier is linked to Naharlagun PS Case No. 57/25 under Sections 21(b)/27/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, a senior police officer said on Tuesday.
