Yogi congratulates newly selected UP Police recruits

Lucknow, Mar 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday extended his heartfelt congratulations to the 60,244 youths selected for the post of Constable in UP Police and expressed special joy over recruitment of 12,048 daughters in the police force.
Taking to X, the CM wrote, "The selection process was conducted with utmost fairness, transparency and strict adherence to reservation provisions. As per the final results, 12,937 candidates from the general category, 32,052 candidates against 16,264 posts reserved for Other Backward Classes, 14,026 candidates against 12,650 posts for Scheduled Castes and 1,229 candidates against 1,204 posts for Scheduled Tribes have been successfully selected."
Attributing their achievements to their talent, perseverance, and the blessings of their teachers and parents, he said, "I appreciate the successful candidates' hard work, intelligence, and dedication", attributing their achievements to their talent, perseverance, and the blessings of their teachers and parents. I extend my best wishes to all as they embark on their journey of service in the UP Police."
Besides, Yogi applauded the efforts of all officers and employees of the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board for successfully conducting the largest constable recruitment examination in the state's history.
