Youth voter collapsed and died in polling booth, heavy voter turnout reported in North Kerala

Kannur, Dec 11 (UNI) A 48-year old youth of Morazha collapsed and died while waiting in a queue at a polling booth during the Anthoor Municipality local body elections at Morazha South LP School on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased was identified as K P Sudheesh (48) a lottery vendor of Morazha. He arrived at the polling station around 10:30 AM and was waiting in a long queue. After entering the polling booth, he suddenly collapsed, reportedly due to fatigue.
Local residents rushed him to the nearby Taliparamba cooperative hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The body was later shifted to the Kannur Government Medical College hospital at Pariyaram for post-mortem.
