Yuvraj praises Amritsar's Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney for flood efforts

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh today took to social media to praise Amritsar's Deputy Commissioner, Sakshi Sawhney, for her exemplary leadership during the recent floods in Punjab.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Yuvraj Singh said that Sawhney, as the first woman DC of Amritsar, "led from the front" in the hardest-hit areas.
"In these moments, it’s people like IAS Sakshi Sawhney who give us strength," he wrote. "She was present, listening, acting, and standing shoulder to shoulder with her people."
