AP: WEB equipment for effective surveillance: Kakinada SP

Kakinada, July 5 (UNI) District superintendent of police Garikipati Bindu Madhav inaugurated the WEB Equipment room in the district police office here on Saturday.
He said the WEB equipment was of great use to the police personnel in Surveillance duties and also in tracking the movements of anti-socials and criminals.
The SP further said that the entire Kakinada city was being brought under the surveillance of the CC Cameras network to strengthen the police in effective discharge of law and order maintenance. The Drones surveillance is also arranged to track the movements of people in the remote areas especially in beach area.
In addition to the Police CC camera network, he said, the owners of shops and establishments and the public were requested to install CC cameras in their premises on their own for the sake of safety.
Later, the SP planted coconut saplings in the district police office premises under the greenery development programme. Additional SP Armed Reserve Srinivasarao, RI administration Armed Reserve Narasimhamurthy , Special Branch DSP Chevvakula Srirama koteswara rao were among those attended.
