Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) BASF, the global chemicals major, will establish a Global Service Hub for its Global Business Services (GBS) division in Hyderabad, with operations scheduled to commence in the second quarter of the current fiscal.
The company submitted a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Telangana IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Tuesday.

Hyderabad was selected after a competitive global evaluation, with BASF citing the city's strong talent pool, supportive policy ecosystem, and mature enterprise infrastructure as key advantages.
Earlier this year, the company had also announced a Global Digital Hub in the city, marking continued investment in Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar Babu said Hyderabad has emerged as one of India's fastest-growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) hubs, adding over 75 GCCs in the past year.
