Cong calls Modi's I am human, not god remark as damage control

New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) The Congress on Friday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's “I am human, not god” remark during a podcast and said that, this is nothing but “clearly a damage control” after proclaiming himself as “non-biological”.

Taking to social media handle X, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “This from a man who proclaimed his non-biological status just eight months back. This is clearly damage control”.
Modi during a podcast by Nikhil Kamath, when he was asked about his old speeches when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Modi responded, “I said something in an insensitive way. Mistakes happen. I am human, not a God.”
