Czech Republic to evacuate 37 of its citizens from Syria: Reports

Prague, Dec 11 (UNI) The Czech Republic is organising the evacuation of 37 of its citizens and their family members from Syria, as well as several dozen Americans, since Prague represents US interests in Syria, the Idnes news portal reported, citing the Czech Foreign Ministry.
There are problems with the arrival in Damascus of some families of Czech citizens who are in the deep regions of Syria that are not controlled by the country’s new authorities, the report said on Tuesday, citing a Foreign Ministry spokesman.
Together with representatives of other countries, the Czech Republic is also reportedly trying to organise the evacuation of American citizens, involving UN employees in the process, another spokesman added.
