Ex Taiwanese leader to visit China from Dec 18-26

Beijing, Dec 11 (UNI) Former Taiwanese leader Ma Ying-jeou will visit mainland China from December 18 to 26, Zhu Fenglian, a spokeswoman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of China's State Council, said on Wednesday.
"From December 18 to 26, Mister Ma Ying-jeou will head a group of Taiwanese youth to visit the provinces of Heilongjiang and Sichuan to take part in the Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival and other events," the Chinese Central Television quoted Zhu as saying.
Beijing welcomes the visit of Ma Ying-jeou, who once again leads a delegation to China and will do everything necessary to prepare, she added.
