HP: CM Sukhu, ex-CM continue to trade barbs at each other

Shimla, Jun 24 (UNI) Although the political storm has calmed down after the Rajya Sabha election, political turmoil in Himachal Pradesh could not reach a logical conclusion, as Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and the BJP continued to trade barbs at each other.
CM Sukhu created ripples in state politics Sunday by making a scathing statement against former chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and BJP chief Rajiv Bindal for allegedly predicting high court judgements against six Congress MLAs and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries.
Importantly, while addressing a public meeting during the recent by-election, the former chief minister and BJP state president stated that the Sukhu's government is unstable as the petition pending against six Chief Parliamentary Secretaries is likely to lead to fall of the Congress government.
