India sends 20 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Jamaica & Cuba in the wake of Hurricane Melissa

New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) India today despatched 20 tonnes of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief material to Jamaica and Cuba in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which has severely impacted the Caribbean nations.
An Indian Air Force flight carrying the aid, including the Aarogya Maitri BHISHM Cube, food and daily utilities, medicines, power generators and hygiene kits departed from New Delhi today.
The Aarogya Maitri BHISHM Cube is a state-of-the-art, indigenous, portable mobile hospital developed by India for rapid deployment in emergencies and disaster zones.

29 blackbucks die in five days at Belagavi zoo; probe points to bacterial infection

According to the zoo officials, the preliminary post-mortem report has indicated an outbreak of a bacterial disease in the zoo.

ED uncovers foreign exchange violations by Punjab-based firm
